The Christmas Tree

Here is a picture of the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center.
It was a lot of fun going down there to see it.
However on the way there were so many people everyone was brushing past the person next to them.
I head some lady in her deep southern accent say "Hey someone keeps touching me."
I so wanted to turn to her and reply with "Hey lady...This is New York City during the holidays.
If you don't want people to touch you GO Home!" I know not the nicest thing to say but hey seriously if you are
going to come to the city and go down by the tree be prepared to get brushed up against or bumped into.
After it is New York City during the most wonderful time of the Year!
We were just getting close to the bottom of the tree when in this small little circle of
family we saw a young man propose to his girlfriend. The family around them was clapping she was crying,
and of course she said yes! It really was so romantic.
Then we went to check out the skating rink.
It was pretty empty because someone had rented it for a short while to yet again propose.
This guy got down on his knees on the ice to ask the love of his life to be his wife.
Definately the most wonderful time of the year!
These snow flakes are on the side of a building and they all light up at different times in tune with the music.
I took a video of it and will try to get it on my blog for you to see.

Are you developing a NY attitude, with the sass you almost gave that lady? A proposal at Christmas . . . definitely the best time!
