Medora North Dakota

Medora is a great place to visit and have some family fun. The town was named by a French aristocrat willing to be an entrepreneur. Medora was named after Marquis de Mores wife Medora Von Hoffman. Marquis de Mores planned to make a new fortune in the cattle industry. His goal was to provide consumers with a better quality of meat. For three years this business ran successfully but then his Cattle empire fell.
However it has left a legacy for all of Medora's visitors.
Every time we visit Medora we always have dinner
It is a great time to sit and enjoy each others company.
After we dinner we go to the Medora Musical.
This is a fun way to learn some of North Dakota's history,
and about Teddy Roosevelt.

When we get to hot and need to cool down
we jump in the truck turn the AC on high
We always stop at the Prairie Dog towns.
We like to feed them and laugh at their crazy antics.

The cowboy hall of fame is something that is rather new to Medora.
It is exciting to walk through there and read about different cowboys and their adventures.

There is a whole lot more to see and do in Medora.
I just wanted to share with you some of our favorite things.
We are planning to drive to North Dakota later this summer,
and Medora is on our list of things to do.

I know somebody who would REALLY like to visit the "Cowboy Hall of Fame". (Hint:initials of AG) She's probably already been there!
