Revival week - Day two

Bro. Curtman is here this week for a summer revival. During the mornings he is teaching from the book of Daniel, and in the evening he has had revival messages. The services have been great and I have gotten such a blessing from them already. However, Satan sure is fighting. This afternoon my mom was woking in the kitchen and she spilled boiling water on her stomach. She really didn't even realize it was burning. At first she knew she spilled the water because she was wet, and her foot was hot, so she finished what she was doing and about that time the burning kicked in. Needless to say she has a very bad second degree burn. One big blister has already popped and she has two other smaller ones. My dad and the boys went to church, and I took her to my doctor. He gave her some silver sulfadiazine cream to put on the burn, and some medication for the pain. Of course we also called Dr. Sharon to get her suggestions as well. I ended up being late for church, but the little while I was there was wonderful. We are praying that this burn will heal quickly and not get infected so that my mom can join us for the rest of the services. She really hates missing church.
