Tonight my mom and I canned some peaches. This is a brief run down of the process. Here we are boiling the jars and the lids to make sure they are sterile.

Then we set the peaches in hot then cold water so they would peel easier.

Hey how about that! I just made (for the first time) peach perserves! I canned them and everyhthing just like you posted :o) Last night I kept on hearing each one of them make a pop like sound and I thought I did something wrong. But all was well in the morning! I thoroughly enjoyed making them...and tasting them too!
