Remembering 9-11

I got this email from my aunt the other day and wanted to share it with everyone. I was not able to post a 9-11 tribute so this I will share with you. However on 9-11 I drove through New York City and was able to see the Empire State Building lit up red, white, and blue. I also saw to pillars of light reaching up to the sky from ground zero. It was sad to think that was where the twin towers were, and to think of all the lives lost.

Greetings from Perham!
Yesterday,9-11-08, 17 Teenage Rupublicans gathered at the Perham High Schoolin the rain to place 2,977 American flags on the high school grounds in memory of the victims that were murdered by terrorist 9-11-01. Each flag had a victim's nameon it. This is the 2nd year they have done this project. After all the flags wereplaced, Char Pyles and Dennis Poppenhagen prepared breakfast for the teenagesat Staebler Financial Group's office in the lower conference room. These teenagers are our future ... with them we are in great hands.Last night on the 10 O'clock news WDAY had pictures and interviews with LucaWuebben and Jena Strege. WDAY did a great job. Jena is a senior andhas completed her basic training in the National Guard and after high school graduation she will be going into intelligence training. These teenagers believein America. We are blessed by them.Enjoy the pictures.God Bless America!!Betty
